Dorota Roszkowska
Producer, lecturer and expert in the field of documentary film. After returning from Holland, where she had been involved in the audiovisual industry and marketing for many years, in the years 1997-2002 she worked as commissioning editor in the cultural department of TVP2 Polish Television, where she dealt with co-productions with the European Cultural Channel ARTE. Currently Dorota Roszkowska is head of the Academy of Documentary Arts, which organises international film education and promotion projects including the “Dragon Forum” pitching at the Krakow Film Festival, trainings in Kyiv, Moscow, and Perm, as well as the “Art of Documentary” screenings in Warsaw. Since 2003 Dorota Roszkowska has been running the independent company Arkana Studio. She is producer of “The Mill and the Cross,” a film by Lech Majewski after the Pieter Bruegel painting, “Poste Restante” by Marcel Łoziński, winner of the European Film Award and many other films. Dorota Roszkowska is a member of the European Film Academy, the European Documentary Network, board member of the Association of Polish Filmmakers and president of the International Association "Future Media".
Marcin Koszałka
Cinematographer and documentary film director. While making his documentaries, he constantly cooperates with the American television HBO. A graduate of the Katowice Film School, currently employed there as a lecturer. A two-time winner of Golden Lions in the category of cinematography during the Festival of Polish Feature Films in Gdynia for the films Pręgi (Welts) and Rewers (Reverse), as well as winner of the Bronze Frog during Camerimage for the film Rewers (Reverse). Laureate of numerous awards for documentary films, including awards in Berlin, Karlovy Vary, Nyon, Kraków, Teheran. His films are presented during various prestigious festivals (Amsterdam, Moscow, Rotterdam, Washington, and others). A member of the European Film Academy, the Polish Society of Cinematographers, the Polish Film Academy, and the Polish Filmmakers Association. His domain is specialist photography with special regard to aerial and underwater photography, as well as photography involving application of Alpine climbing techniques.
Przemysław Lewandowski
Artistic director of one of the oldest fim events in Poland – Ińsko Film Summer (for 11 years), as well as the initiator and the main organiser of “Włóczykij” Festival of Places and Travel in Gryfino. For 8 years he has been an active journalist for Stopklatka.pl, a film website covering film festivals and providing film reviews. Chairman of the Republika Międzyodrza Association, the goal of which is to support alternative artistic events and original forms of tourist activity in the Town and Municipality of Gryfino and in West Pomerania. Co-founder and member of thr editorial board of “Rocznik Chojeński,” a cultural-social magazine. Has been managing Kino Gryf in Gryfino (which is part of the Arthouse Cinema Network) for 8 years.
