Telmo Basterretxea (1991), born in Hondarribia, Gipuzkoa, graduated in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country. At the age of 10 he joined the workshop of audiovisual language "Behind the camera" imparted by Isabel Alba, during which he shot dozens of shortfilms between 2002-2010. Awarded at the New Hampton (N.Y.) festival in 2007 for his shortfilm “Interferences,” “The person I most admire” is his last short film, first prize in the “Showing Film Awards.” Nowadays he studies at the ECAM, Madrid.
